or ExitWelcome to A Little Luxury Distillery …
We are a mother and daughter run distillery, specialising in the production of award winning, artisan made, small batch, Gins, Rums, Vodka and Liqueurs.
Heralding from rural Lincolnshire we are passionate about producing high quality small batch products using the best ingredients Britain has to offer.
We started as a small preserves company in 2011 as a form of physical therapy for Barbara who was involved in a life changing car accident. Slowly the business grew and the range of preserves toped 80 varieties! By 2016 too much fruit was coming off the local farm to use within the preserves and hating to waste such lovely fruit we searched for other ways to use it. Our thoughts went back to our Grandma who loved making fruit flavoured gins and the idea for our distillery was born.
We now have five working stills; Bob our small test still who we use to trial new recipes (he often comes with us to events and gin talks) and our larger stills Vera (named in honour of the Canadian Lancaster named Vera who visited Lincolnshire in 2014), and Whanau (pronounced far-now, named by Laura's friend from New Zealand, this Maori word means family - we love it as its matches our ethos). Our new still Maude joined the family in January 2020.
In 2016 we are awarded a BBC Good Food Show Food Champion standard for our Raspberry Gin Liqueur as well as a Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Award (gold star) for our Gooseberry Gin Liqueur.
Since then we have grown from strength to strength adding a further 4 Great Taste Awards for our Damson Gin Liqueur (double gold star) and Raspberry Gin Liqueur (gold star), Christmas Rum (Lincolnshire's First Rum)(gold star), and Angels High Gin (gold star). As such we've now been awarded Great Taste 'Producer' status.
We attend events across the country and have a small select group of stockists where you can also buy our products.
We are also proud members of Taste Lincolnshire which aims to promote the best of Lincolnshire produce.
Best Wishes
Barbara and Laura
